Background removal runs on this device. Good front lighting helps hair and edges.

Your original camera take is kept locally, so you can change this effect later.

A fresh story

Where would you like to start?

Without a chapter script, start with one chapter. The video’s original sound is replaced by your takes. Your existing projects stay saved.

The chapter timing stays fixed so your voice follows the visual edit.

A small recording ritual.

Voice first: choose it under New project, paste your script and record freely. Transcribe a take locally, then add demo clips at spoken moments. Your selected takes set the timing. Video first: follow the existing visual edit using the steps below.

  1. Settle in. Enable your mic, and camera if you like. Use headphones when listening to takes.
  2. One chapter at a time. A three-second countdown gives you a breath. The clock shows how much time is left. Re-record freely; every take stays available.
  3. Choose & trim. Choose a take for each chapter. Trim pauses at the edges, or add a short lead-in. Check your camera does not hide important evidence.
  4. Bring it together. Build a preview, then export the full video with your voice and optional presenter overlay. Levels and tiny fades smooth audio cuts; mismatched words need a retake.
  5. Keep a copy. Download the final video and a project backup. Browser storage can be cleared or evicted.

Use a current Chrome or Edge browser on your Mac for the best recording and export support. Camera availability comes from macOS; the studio cannot enable an unavailable iPhone remotely.
